What is Walktober?
Walktober is a fun and friendly competition designed to help you achieve your walking or overall exercise goals. You can join as an individual or form a team with your colleagues.
Track your daily steps, walking minutes, or step-equivalent activities using your fitness device, and log your progress in the Walktober app each day. A guide to convert various exercises into step equivalents will be available when the program launches.
A Friendly Reminder:
We want Walktober to be an enjoyable and fair challenge for everyone. Please record your steps honestly. Remember, step-counters belong on your wrist, not on your pet, baby, or the ceiling fan.
If you find yourself logging 2–3 million steps in a month, you might just have superhero powers from another planet, and that’s an unfair advantage.
