Support—Headquarters—Cell Phone

Cell Phone providers that offer discounts to World Bank Group staff are AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. These discount programs are offered by the World Bank Group and may change at anytime.

AT&T

Offers 15% of the staff member's monthly bill. To obtain this discount, the staff member needs to show proof that he/she is employed by the World Bank Group.  Staff can show copy of his/her official World Bank ID or Verification Letter of Employment (staff can obtain this letter through MyHR website, Compensation Section, Employment Verification Letter), and a picture ID (national passport or Driver’s License).  Staff can go to any AT&T office to get a new cell phone. T-Mobile

Offers 18% of staff member's monthly bill. To obtain this discount, the staff member needs to show proof that he/she is employed by the World Bank Group (follow same identification guidelines as shown for AT&T).  Staff can go to any T-Mobile office to get a new cell phone. Please see attached pdf for details.

Verizon

Offers 15% off staff member's monthly bill. To obtain this discount, the staff member needs to show proof that he/she is employed by the World Bank Group (follow same identification guidelines as shown for AT&T). Staff can go to any Verizon office to get a new cell phone. Discount varies by monthly Verizon plan you choose. Please consult and confirm with your Verizon Customer Service representative when obtaining mobile service plans.
