Understanding Health Insurance for Behavioral Health and Addiction/Substance Use Disorder

Do you know anyone who is struggling to understand what insurance will or won’t cover for loved ones in treatment for addiction or mental health challenges? Whether resident or outpatient, people have very specific hurdles to jump through when it comes to understanding coverage for addiction/substance use disorder and behavioral health issues.

Scott Leshin, founder and CEO of SJ Health Insurance Advocates., will offer a seminar on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, 7-8 pm EST, on health insurance for addiction/substance use disorder and behavioral health issues. SJ Health Insurance Advocates works with over 200 treatment programs nationally. Scott will discuss various types of health insurance plans, how to read through your certificate of coverage, how to win an appeal, and the overall health insurance landscape as it relates to substance abuse and mental health.
