Hi, everyone.
We're excited to launch the 2026 World Bank Group Children's Art Prize.
We encourage everyone to share this opportunity with spouses, partners, and children, and to help make this year's competition even more successful than previous years.
This year's theme for the contest is The World of Work.
The theme connects directly to the World Bank Group's core mission. Creating jobs is central to reducing poverty and expanding opportunity.
Through their art, we invite children to picture how "work" and different types of jobs and careers can make possible a future where every child has the chance to thrive.
We ask them to capture the excitement, joy, fulfillment, opportunity and dignity that work and jobs represent - for themselves, for their families and for their communities.
Our young artists can choose to envision new jobs which don't exist today and are still being imagined, or they can muse about the work that they see around them.
Whether they portray innovators, creators or entrepreneurs or whether their imaginations are captured by farmers, engineers, healthcare workers, builders, teachers or scientists, they will join a long tradition of artists who have reflected on the dignity and importance of being productive in society.
Contest details:
• Submissions may include drawings, paintings, photography, or digital art

We encourage every member of the World Bank Group family to invite their children to participate. Their creativity continues to inspire us all.
Cheers to a year of purpose, imagination, and progress,
