Grounded in the World Bank’s mission to end extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity and inspired by its vision of a world free of poverty on a livable planet where all people can achieve their potential with dignity, opportunity, and resilience, this year’s TSP theme “Youth on a Livable Planet: Skills, Jobs, Impact” highlights the unique role young people can play in shaping a better future. It’s about building the skills that matter most in a changing world; critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and leadership, while exploring how the jobs of tomorrow can help advance sustainability, inclusion, and opportunity. Above all, it invites teens to connect purpose with action: to see themselves not only as learners, but as emerging changemakers who can turn ideas into meaningful impact for people and planet.
