The Fiber Arts Group warmly welcomes all fabric and yarn enthusiasts! Whether you bring a project you're working on or come empty-handed, you might find some inspiration from seeing what others are creating. Feel free to bring something you've recently made for a "show and tell" session—we love to admire each other's work and look forward to having you with us.
WBFN Fiber Art: Special morning at the Textile Museum!
🗓 Wednesday, February 18
⏰ 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
We will meet outside the main entrance of the World Bank MC at 10:00 AM and walk together to the museum (about a 10-minute walk).
If you prefer to meet us there, please arrive at the museum by 10:30 AM.
At 10:30 AM, we will be welcomed by Mary Chavez, Museum Fellow at the Cotsen Textile Traces Study Center. Mary has kindly offered to give us a brief introduction to the Textile Museum and will share selected pieces featuring elements by William Morris.
Later, we will explore the "Lessons in Responsible Fashion" exhibition together.
We look forward to spending this inspiring cultural morning with you! ✨
