Volunteering within the Community in April!
💫 We are excited to renew our partnership with SOME (So Others Might Eat) — an organization that provides material aid and comfort to our vulnerable neighbors in D.C. https://some.org/
🗓️ Join us on April 21, 2026, as we will serve lunch for individuals and families at 📍the SOME location: 71 O St NW, Washington D.C.
👥 Available spots: 12 volunteers; ⚠️Everyone interested in taking part must be registered at least 7 days before the shift.
How to register:
1️⃣ Sign up here: https://some.volunteerportal.org/WorldBankFamilyNetwork
2️⃣ Choose your status:
• Returning Volunteer if you’ve signed up before
• New Volunteer if you’re new or unsure
3️⃣ Join your team: After logging in, click Continue when prompted that you’ve joined your team.
4️⃣ Select your shift:
• Go to Recommended Team Shifts
• Choose the shift with your team name and the April 21 date.
• Review details and sign the waiver.
5️⃣ Confirmation: You’ll receive an email titled “Confirmation: SOME Volunteer Shift” once registered.
