Virtual Welcoming Information Session (WIS)
World Bank Family Network warmly invites you to our Virtual Welcoming Information Session (WIS) on Monday, March 25, from 9:00am to 10:30am, DC time.
For the benefit of our members who have not yet physically relocated to WB HQ, we are organizing this special virtual WIS to answer some of the questions you may have before relocating to DC. It will be an opportunity for you to connect in advance of your relocation to the wonderful WBFN Community. Something which you can build upon further after your relocation.
Please note that the Virtual WIS will be organized only once in three months. So please block your calendar to not miss the opportunity to join us on Monday, March 25, 2024 @9am
If you would like to attend our Virtual Welcoming Information Session (WIS) we do ask that you register by sending an email to: familynetwork@worldbank.org, only registered participants will receive the webex link to join.
About the Welcoming Information Session:
Please note that this is an informal, interactive session covering key areas of concern for members relocating to HQ. These include WB Medical Insurance, Driver’s license, Social Security Number, Employment application, how members can participate in WBGFN activities/ sessions, and much more. We will also share some key resources and make participants aware of the common mistakes that can be avoided while doing their paperwork.
By participating in the Welcoming Information Session, you provide consent to have the session photographed for promotional purposes, including social media, to be used by WBFN. If you choose not to give your consent, you can still participate in the event by declining consent via email to familynetwork@worldbank.org and welcoming@worldbank.org, and we will respect your choice. Please do not hesitate to write to us should you have any questions, clarifications, or suggestions.
