Dear WBGFN Member,
We welcome you to FY23. As one year ends and another begins, may we wish you happiness and lightness of heart. To every valued volunteer of the Family Network, you have been instrumental throughout the whole year. We hope you continue to shine and work together supporting our members Worldwide.
For many of us, summer has arrived with a renewed sense of movement. As many of you are aware HQ will be moving to Tier Zero on 5th July 2022. WBGFN’s doors will be open from July 5 for members/spouses/partners on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 10am and 2pm, during the months of July and August. You will shortly receive an email with detailed information on the office reopening. Our online programs will continue as planned; however, we will ask you to be mindful when visiting our offices and since COVID is very much a reality - we’re still not sure what the ‘new normal’ would look like.
WBGFN is moving forward with you, emphasizing our people (members, volunteers, and staff), processes (in-person and on-line offerings) and performance for the year ahead. As we move to renew in-person gatherings, key virtual innovations will remain in place that connect our worldwide community and offer enhanced ‘anytime, anywhere’ support to our families. Through your participation we will actively listen, assess and innovate as we gain tools for navigating the ‘new normals’ ahead.
It’s clear the WBGFN experience is a welcome constant in a world of changing norms. For our 50th Anniversary celebration, we will be republishing past (relocation) articles that tell our story. We hope you enjoy the articles and wish you a safe and enjoyable holiday!
