As we celebrate the richness of our community spirit, let’s not forget the passion and dedication of our members behind the cause. We continue to walk with the same commitment and vision that were coined by our predecessors. Our Family Network community continues to grow with each increase in outreach.
Keeping with the same spirit, the WBG Family Network lunch event at Entoto Restaurant in Addis Ababa was a delightful experience for staff and their families. The event provided an opportunity for employees to connect with one another and their loved ones, fostering a sense of community and belonging within the organization. Entoto Restaurant offered a beautiful setting, and everyone enjoyed the delicious food. The event was a welcome break from daily routine, allowing staff members to relax and spend quality time with their families. Overall, the WBG Family Network lunch gathering was viewed as a success, resulting in staff looking forward to future gatherings.
As we gradually move towards encouraging member presence at HQ, a delightful event is resurfacing for members and staff. Under the banner of Many Flags, One World we are thrilled to be bringing back one of our long-standing annual events – a lunch potluck on March 16th. So do not forget to sign up and witness the enriching community we belong to. If you haven’t visited our new office space yet, this is your chance to do so.
