Transition and Career Development workshop
Dates:
Part I- September 29, 9:30-3:30 pm
Part II- October 6, 9:30-1:30 pm
Time: 10:00am-1:00pm
Venue: G4-001, 1776 G Street
Prerequisite: You must have completed personality assessment questionnaire (MBTI) by September 23. Registration: Required, email globalmobility@worldbank.org
The program will help you to identify your particular career focus and create a job search strategy that is right for you.
You will:
- Better understand a transition process of re-establishing your career in a new country
- Increase self awareness, become familiar with the personality type approach and verify your “best fit” type through interactive learning activities
- Recognize job roles and career choices that are aligned with your personality preferences
- Become more confident about your strengths.
Group Career Coaching
Group Career Coaching will be offered in mid October upon completion the workshop.
You will:
- Develop the key criteria for your next career step
- Identify your skill set and relevant experience in order to translate them into a focused resume and a powerful marketing message
- Address possible road blocks regarding your job search
- Discover previously unseen possibilities and identify an action plan.
