The Saturday April 17 Children’s Art Contest was a big success. The cooperation with the Bank’s Art Program curators resulted in an incredible, varied program, with art and science involved in many forms: music production, chocolate production, electricity lab, storytelling, and the designing and painting of a real Germ Art Work, which will be unveiled hopefully in May or June. The many volunteers involved did a great job in ushering the kids from one program to the next and assisting the Smithsonian and other artist facilitators. WBFN thanks its partners in and outside the Bank for their contribution. All this would never have been possible without the countless hours and efforts a real army of volunteers put into organizing it: Amber van de Genachte, Fani Papalamprou, Kalterine Vreneziand, and somany others!
A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make this years’ event a big success!
