The Holiday party was a huge success and the credit goes to all the members who volunteered their valuable time. Big or small, every contribution adds up in the success of an event. I personally was overwhelmed by the willingness of members and their families to help with the various events and activities making the party a truly memorable event for the children and the adults. It was amazing to see 14 year olds helping the 4 year olds with nail paints, face painting and other activities. Of course nothing compares with the smiles you see on the young one’s when Santa comes to visit. The formation of long lines and the patient wait for their turn was amazing to see. They also had written their wishes to Santa for the children of the world.  
The Dinorock group came back to entertain. We also had the Chief Elf come from The Children’s Law Center and accept gift cards for the teenagers. This is where your contribution, those five dollars added up. 
All this was just not possible without the help of our WBFN staff and a special big round of applause for our volunteers.
